2022 Pole and Aerial Retreat

We are back with our second annual Pole and Aerial Retreat!  Join us for training and fun with fellow circus monkeys - high in the sky and down on the ground with specialized classes and unique workshops.  Featuring a range of aerial apparatuses and movement arts, as well as professional photos to grow your portfolio or show off on insta.

About the Retreat & Lodging

This exclusive 5 day event will build your skills and knowledge, as well as our aerial community <3 by working alongside fellow lovers of flight with expert coaches who have extensive teaching and performance experience. Courses offer unique apparatus training, along with an emphasis on self-care for when you’re out of the air.

Every course and instructor is devoted to providing attendees with focused time and attention, so space is limited for everyone to get the best experience.

Registration includes 4 nights at a beautiful Texas hill country ranch for an immersive getaway. Bed and bedroom options vary (from your own bed in a large bunkhouse, to sharing a big bed in your own room with a friend).  If you have a friend or 3 you would like to sign up and bunk with, please let us know :) We will be reaching out to people in the order they signed up to solidify sleeping arrangements. 

Should I sign up?

This retreat is designed for aerial enthusiasts and practicing polers so we recommend prior experience in at least one apparatus. We want to help each attendee grow their skills as well as overall grow our community. Come ready to learn, explore, hang out with fellow polers and aerialists, and make new friends along the way!

Courses will vary in levels from beginner to advanced. All prerequisites will be listed in each course description. Have a question about pre-reqs? Contact the organizers to learn more.

The workshop offerings and schedule are still being solidified, but it will be all kinds of fun things!  You can expect to see a wide variety of apparatuses and modalities such as:

Cost

Come join us!  For $1000 you get the full retreat which includes:

• 5 days, 4 nights
• Daily meals and snacks
• 4 workshops
• Any Classes

Full retreat attendees also get additional workshops and photoshoots (beyond those included) at a reduced rate, as well as fun group activities!*

If you are unable to join us for the full retreat you are still, of course, welcome to come participate in workshops and photoshoots!

*Some activities may have an additional fee for materials (such as tie-dying silks)

Those not attending the full retreat (“visitors”) can still jump in for some fun!

Photoshoots:

• Outdoor: Full attendees: $100 & Visitors: $125
• Light  Painting:Full attendees: $125 & Visitors: $150

Workshops:     Full attendees: $60 & Visitors: $75

Partial Retreat Option

Want to come play and hang but don't have the cash or time off to make the whole retreat? We want to make sure you can come too, so we're now offering options for attending just part of the retreat!  When purchasing your ticket, purchase the 'Partial Week Retreat Deposit' option :) 

Pricing: 

• $340 for 1 night, 1 workshop, and ALL meals, classes, and activities for the 2 full days surrounding it! 
• $600 for 2 nights, 2 workshops, and 3 days of meals, classes, and activities 
• $850 for 3 nights, 3 workshops, and 4 days of meals, classes, and activities

Payment Plans

It only costs $100 to secure your spot for the retreat!  A Fly Unfeathered staff member will reach out to you after your registration to develop a payment plan that works best for you! Full payment must be received by February 25, 2022.
